Hello! I’m Brenna. I’m a creative project manager working in arts and entertainment. I’m originally from Charlotte, NC, and I earned my B.F.A. in Photography and Film from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA. After graduating in 2019, I moved myself to Silver Spring, MD where I worked as the Administrative Assistant for the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center. There, I learned about theater exhibition (i.e. watched many independent films) and how to execute an online film festival (after COVID-19 closed the theater for over a year.) My love of film festivals and unique online experience brought me to Utah where I worked as the Coordinator, Digital Marketing at the Sundance Institute. After three Festivals, I transitioned to a new role with the Utah Jazz as a Marketing Project Manager, and most recently, as a Senior Project Manager. Day-to-day, I’m tackling design requests with our creative team, building marketing campaigns with our strategists, and refining our workflows in Asana.
In my free time, I enjoy performing and teaching Irish dancing (with local group Rinceoiri Don Spraoi), painting food on mini canvases, and slowly writing what may become my first feature film or a 12-episode limited series. (I haven’t decided yet.)
